Hi,  I am Shaurya, my friends call me Shawn!  Originally from India, I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Communication Design at Parsons School of Design. This program builds on my foundation in Industrial Design, which I received from ISDI in Mumbai.

My design journey has been fueled by a desire to create impactful experiences. For the past four years, I've honed my skills in various design roles.  At IKEA, I thrived as a graphic designer, and most recently, at Cactus, an international publishing company, I took on the challenge of designing infographics and newsletters that resonated with clients in the Eastern market.  My leadership skills also blossomed as I mentored junior graphic designers, providing feedback and guidance.

However, my true design passion lies at the intersection of imagination and sustainability.  I'm particularly fascinated by speculative and environmental design.  These fields allow me to explore possibilities for the future, pushing boundaries and envisioning solutions that address environmental challenges.Beyond design, I find solace and creativity in the worlds of ceramics and farming.  These pursuits fuel my desire to understand and work with the world around us.
